Instead of writing my essay, I stenciled a shirt. Perfect use of my time!

I got the stencil by Googling "Lily Stencil", and I'm pretty sure it's copyrighted...*insert collar tug*. I used the freezer paper method and my usual stenciling method (stencil black outline, hand paint details).

I'm rather pleased with how it came out!

That's really beautiful!  How did you stencil it?  I mean, I am new to the idea.  Did you trace it or copy it on to the shirt and then paint it?  This my rambling way of saying I really like it and would love to borrow your idea for a friend of mine.

It turned out great! I do "stencilling" a similar way. I find adding details with a paintbrush so much easier (which only makes me more amazed at some of those crazy people with their super detailes stencils that are straight from the freezer paper) I really like how bold the lily looks against the blue of the shirt, though I may be biased because lilies are one of my favourite flowers. Smiley
