Hi everyone, I have show I will be doing and I need you all to pump me up a bit.

I worked all day got 3 mixed media collages done, now I have a little anxiety about showing them. They are made of glass wood and handmade paper and painted paper. I have more but it got dark so I couldn't take photos.

Thanks folks

Are you being serious?? Those are beyond beautiful!! I can't pick my favorite. I'm leaning toward the purple, but that's because I have a severe soft spot for purple. They are all really amazing.

Wow-- just wow.  Your work is absolutely amazing!  I love the use of mixed media involving glass.  Your designs are beautiful!  You will have no problem finding admiring customers!

Out of curiosity, how long does it take to make something like that?

Thank you,

I did sketches and I made the glass pieces some time ago knowing I would assemble them some time in September/October the glass pieces took kiln time 7 hours to cool and heat that sorta thing. Designing glass to put in the kiln probably an hour then assemblege another 40 min or so per piece. So It's a good days work to get them all done. Doing sketches does help.

Asking that question really helped me break down my time so I will know how to price these. So thanks for asking that.

Can I ask another question?  (Sorry to pester you-- these fascinate me!)  Is the whole piece fused glass, or are there fused glass parts collaged with other things and they are in a frame kind of thing?  I can't totally tell if it's a glass block with all that detail in there or mixed media that has been framed.  (Which will lead me to another question, if it is one block, are you fusing the paper and such too?  I don't do fusing so this is all new and fasincating to me!)
