I love, love, love it! Two purses, but for the space of one! My addiction has gotten so bad, that my rule is that all my purses must fit inside of one suitcase. This one lets me cheat lol

Hey ladies!

You all are going to die of jealousy!  I got my apron a few days ago from ctgirl, and it is A-MAZING!  she picked the most perfect fabric you could imagine.  its a lovely vintage-y cherry pattern, and it just screams "i belong to betzi".  I have used it every single day since i got it.  I will have to wash it before taking a pic of it tho...its already has muffin dough and homemade baby food smear on it.  yes, it is LOVED.  I have to hunt down my camera, and will hopefully be able to post a pic soon.

woohoo!

I just found out that I got a SURPRISE package from alwaysinmyroom today.  The Hubby just called to tell me that it was on the door step.  I totally wasn't expecting anything.

Thank you so much alwaysinmyroom.

OH MY GAWD!!!!

I just got home and opened the amazing felted purse from alwaysinmyroom!!!  It is truely stunning.  All brown and stripey with a beautiful little flower in the corner.  But wait there's more... there is also a wonderful silk(?) vintagey tissue holder and a Happy Birthday pencil.

The card totally made me cry and feel sooooo special.

Alwaysinmyroom you are too sweet for words right now!!! Kiss

I have a couple of flakers.   Sad  Before I post on the angel board, I wanted to post here to see if anyone from this swap would like to be an angel.

Here are some of the details:

1)TheWorldFamous is sending robbedbyapickle a pair of pj pants --- Send by Oct 23

2)Hookin Flamingo is sending littlesailor amigurumi, tea, journal, mix cd, stitch markers, & a surprise --- Send by Oct 23

The people in bold are the ones who were flaked on.  GAH!  I hate flaking!

Please PM me if you are interested in being an angel.  Thanks!

Well, I am not sure what happened to hookinflamingo and I do hope she is alright... here is what I sent her for her birthday...

She said she was a waitress and needed some coin purses so I got this really cool fabric that looks like money! One is coins and the other dollar bills!  The last PM I got from her said she liked them and that the other waitresses were trying to steal them...

Then, she said she liked scarey stuff and monsters so I made her a monster apron.  I also found about 9 stuffies of monsters at the flea market with the tags still on them!!  What a bargain!! They were so cute but I did not take pictures because I thought she would...

Anyway, here is the apron--each creature on here had a stuffie!

Hope you enjoyed what I sent...

Finally, peariso received my package!! ha ha--She did not even know she was getting something because I slid in on the very last day!! SURPRISE!

She was my guinea pig for my FIRST felted purse...I think I am addicted to it now!! No pattern--just winged it and used the simplest knitting possible since I am new at it! I tried to make up for a bit of wonkiness by making a fun and nice lining with pockets and a zipper!

The little kleenex pouch is made from a piece of vintage kimono.

Glad you liked everything and I am happy that you were surprised!!

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.
