The other day I received a magnificent birthday present from PimpernelSmith!!! I asked for an Altoids Tin Surprise based on my likes! Boy did she surprise me!!! Here are some pictures!!!:

Wow! I was expecting a small altoid tin, but look at this big one! I've never seen such a tin before!!! I just couldn't beleive my eyes!!! Ok, now let's see what's inside.....

I could not beleive it when I looked inside! It was a whole Beta Fish themed package!!! I have a beautiful Beta fish, and this was just so exciting!!! Ok, so from left to right there was:
   1. A cute treasure chest!
   2. A tree- i was so excited that it had a suction cup because a lot of times the trees that you buy just don't stay put!
   3. Water conditioning- perfect for the NY tap water that my fish swims in!
   4. A water thermometer
   5. Worms! Betas love these!!
   6. And last but not least, a whole thing of laminated information cards, and a ring to hold all of these fact cards. These are very helpful, I learned a lot from these that I had never known about Betas before!!

This was the back of my birthday card! It's a diagram of a beta, laminated! What a cool idea!

She lined the Altoids Tin with this very adorable fish material!!!
Thsi package is just amazing!!! I can't wait to use everything!!! Thank you so much PimpernelSmith!!

Pictures!  Grin

robbedbyapickle sent me a wonderful assortment of blue, glass beads -- including  a pair that will ward of the evil eye!

And on the same day I received from AcesWild a fantastic collection of unusual teas AND unusual crochet patterns!

The teas are Passion Fruit, Mango, and PINEAPPLE -- which I never would have thought of, and it smells sooooo good!

And the crochet patterns are a blast -- I should get several holiday gifts from them.  Including this one for my friend's Italian Greyhound!

I have to say: this has been such a perfect swap! I've spent most of the month ill, and these have really cheered me up -- THANK YOU ALL! Smiley

Wow!  A lot of pictures have been posted since the last time I checked this thread!

trillian/ littlesailor - That bag is awesome!  I really like all of the fabric used.  I'm a big fan of pink and green, though you would never be able to tell.  I can't believe all the magazines and yarn, too.  What a great gift!

Double Oh Sarah/ LaughingLark - Holy cow!  I can't believe how many pairs of earrings you sent!  Those cat beads are super cute.  I also like the unicorns on the cards.  I have an account with xbox live, and my name is sparklyunicorn.   Grin  I know I'm a complete dork!

IMIS/ PimpernelSmith - I love gifts that are so informative and personalized.  It's so thoughtful.

sarah-/ sissychrissy1 - I love the knitting ATC.  I'm always into small scale knitting.

PimpernelSmith/ robbedbyapickle - The blue beads are beautiful.  I really like the beads that look like little bullseyes.

PimpernelSmith/ AcesWild - That doggie muscle-t pattern is hysterical!  I love it!  What kind of teas did you get?  I'm always curious about teas.  I only drink decaf, but who doesn't like to try new things?  So if anyone wants to try any decaf tea, just let me know and I will send you an assortment!  I have more teas than I ever imagined. Wink

devilninny - Against my better judgement, I will probably organize for November.  I won't post a thread for it until November 1.  I can't believe it's almost November.  What a month it will be!  Sheesh!

The arm warmers are beautiful!!

Also love the evil eye beads--reminds me of my childhood days in Turkey!

The crochet patterns look like fun, easy and quick--are they from a calendar!? Awesome!! I need to get one of those !

And the ATC's are so clever--love the little knitting one!
