Oh, I saw on Martha Stewart where she coated some pumpkins with glitter and it looked really good.  I think she said the glitter was from artglitter.com or something like that. I'm sure her site would have a link.

I saw that show to my mom fell in love with them . I'm planing on making her some this weekend . they used micro glitter when I looked at Micheal's for it . it was not with the other glitter I can't remember what part by that time I was very agitated that store is such a mess and they move things all the time so you can't find anything twice .. any hoo just ask . the bronze I think is going my favorite

You could carve them but with a design that goes all the way down, like a skeleton or haunted house. Or you could paint every other one black.

Wow! You guys are so creative.  I love the papered pumpkins, and I like the idea of adding beads.  Now I want to make "preety" topiaries, and I must make "scary" ones with the creepy bugs coming around them in a spiral.  I glued a dowel rod in a plaque after drilling a shallow hole so the dowel would stay put, for the base.  Then after halloween last year, I used the bases to stack my wire on one and my tapes on the other for my craft room.  Can't just let anything sit around without putting it to good use, huh?
