This is very cute ! I love the colors and Kitty is my favourite Sanrio character!
I think it would be an awesome Xmas gift for many of my friends! Do you intend to write a pattern?

... please ?

This is sooo adorable! I would love to know how you made the squares.

I learned how from craftster (of course!  Wink) Here's a link to the post with the chart:

I had never crocheted anything by looking at a chart before so I was  really intimidated from the way it looks, but once you get going it makes more sense.

Thanks!  I can only give it away because it's for my best friend of 17 years.  And we have matching hello kitty tattoos together  Grin

Thanks again everyone for the awesome comments!  (My craftster ambition to have a project make the hot new topics has finally been fulfilled.  Yay!)

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.

Ahh... The Hello Kitty Granny Square is so awesome!  Yours is terrific and I love it with that heart you designed.  My Hello Kitty squares turned out wonky too.  I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to affect the cuteness.

Thanks  Smiley I loved the little bag you made from your Hello Kitty square in the original thread!

I hardly ever buy any Hello Kitty stuff anymore and I thought maybe I was over it, but then I realized I just don't like pastels, and now all the Sanrio stuff is pastels.  I miss the bright cheerful Hello Kitty from the 80's before she got all pastel and angel-ified.  Primary colors are so happy!

You know you're right. I forgot about that but in the 70s HK was primary coloured too.

Great work!
