That's sorta a long subject line... but I guess it's pretty accurate. I was originally going to make a regular-sized messenger bag for my schoolbooks, but then I thought "screw school!" and made a purse-sized one. It was also because I'm terrible with measuring. Wink The purse should be about 14 inches tall by 10 inches wide.
Anyhoo... here it is.

I yoinked the bird shape from some clipart on word. Here's a closeup that's kinda blurred, and thus sorta negates the whole usefulness of the closeup... meh.

Annnnd it's of the same fabric as the lining/flap lining:

I am SO in love with the lining fabric. I want all of it from everywhere. But it's a bit expensive (stupid $8/m fabric), so I'll hafta settle for having just a little bit on this purse.
The green fabric is kinda like denim/canvas sorta stuff. It's very nice and soft on the outside, and still sturdy and stiff enough to make a very decent purse-bag-thing.
And yes, I'll stop my rambling now.

Thanks, everyone!
I'm pleased to report that it didn't melt when I got caught outside in a downpour today... I'm very impressed, clearly.
