Thanks to everyone on here for their great tutorial, without them I wouldn't have been able to make my first bag! Grin

Its a present for a friend whose a knitter. Lots of room for yarn, two deep pockets and a smaller one for a wallet plus a matching circular and DPN needle roll.

I love it! The fabric looks velvety, is it?

That's a pretty bag!  The brown fabric looks like some sort of embroidered velveteen, it makes me want to touch it.

I hope your friend likes it.

oh that's a gorgeous bag.  I adore the pattern and the colors you used.  The roll matches really nicely.  If you didn't say anything I'd swear you'd been making bags a while!

Thanks guys Smiley

The material (both the brown and spotty) are stretch cord which does have a velvety feel. Both were marked down to clear too so it was a bargain!

I was just searching for a knitting tote bag tutorial and came across our bag - that is exactly what I want to make.. which tutorial did you use to make this?  Please let me know so I can hopefully have as much success as you had!
