Awwww, bummer GG!  We'll miss you!!!  I do think I can make it to our destination without any problem, though...even being chronically navigationally challenged!

WootWoot, I don't have an extra spindle, but I can let you have a go at mine while we're there.   I'll try to bring some swap worthy things, as I would probably be interested in at least one of those books!   Grin  Although, I don't know what I have that would be of equal swapping value...if I bring you some new merino wool roving and maybe teach you how to spin...would that be worth a book to you?

No pressure.  We all just kind of swap what we want.

Looking forward to it!

That's okay, GG!  I actually might be following another Craftster up there...and be a bit late, too!

They're having a Dye Day at a spinning guild in Grandview, Texas and Chel and I are both going to go.  It starts at 10:30, so we might just be a bit late to the Craftster meeting.

I'm not going to ride with her since she lives by The Scrapbook Pad anyway, but at least I will be sure to not get lost on the way there!  Hee-hee.  (I know...I've been there twice now...it's just that I wasn't DRIVING those times!)

So, y'all start the party without us and we'll join you asap.
Later!

OK, I'm not gonna lie - I have a date with a boy wizard this Saturday. But I really, really will try to make it next time.

Absolutely!  They're just spares because when I find books I like used I have a strange compulsion to buy them.  I think it has to do with making sure that the person received them is worthy.  And since I work at a used book store...

I was looking through my paperbacks one day and I had 3 copies of "Sybil".  I don't even really like that book and I've only read it once, but somehow I had 3.

I'll bring the spindle that I have.  I got it in a swap several years ago (not a craftster swap) and it's obviously homemade and seems a little...not good.  But then again, it's easier to blame my inability to figure this out on the spindle then on myself Wink
