I'm all for it. I'm knitting poncho #4 from Family Circle's Easy Knitting, Fall 2004.

Working in Plymouth Encore (75% acrylic, 25% wool, $5.50 a skein, using 8-10 skeins) with 2 strands on #13 circular needles. It's rocking along...

heck ya i want one.. and i love haw it is so versitle! 3 awomse projects in one!! seems time consuming thou. and ive never used cirr. needles before. . . not sure how id tackel this one

I'm in! I started the Cape Mod poncho from SnB last winter, but it got warm again before I finished. Drat! I just dug it out of my WIP pile this morning, and brought it to work so I could work on it here since it's kind of slow today. (Shh, don't tell my boss!) I'm not doing it exactly as the pattern says - I'm leaving off the turtleneck and the eyelash yarn embellishment, and am using Lion Brand Thick & Quick in a charcoal grey color instead of Rowan Big Wool. (I love Big Wool, but not the big money it costs.)

I'm already about half way through - I'm hoping to finish it before the weekend. Can't wait to see how everyone's projects turn out!

Hi everybody!  I'm excited to see your ponchos.  I've kind of scrapped the funky poncho until I have a little more in the way of fundage so that I can get some yarn that I really like.  But...I am still doing a poncho.  A stuffed dog poncho.  My little cousin and I were at the Build A Bear Workshop (http://www.buildabearworkshop.com) a couple of weeks ago and she wanted to buy a poncho for her stuffed dog, but I objected, saying that $7 was too much for a poncho the size of a hand towel.  So now I'm making one.  I'm making the pattern up as I go, so that it will fit around the weird dog shape, so I hope that it turns out.
