Gawd I love this and can't wait to wear it!  I took an old pencil skirt and basically drew round it on a taped newspaper (giving 30mm extra for sewing), cut it out and pinned it to this super polka fabric which was dead cheep from the local market, just 1.80 a Metre!  I cut out 2 skirt shapes and then folded one in half long ways and cut it, giving me 3 pieces.  I whized them together on my machine, putting 2 5mm x 80mm darts in the top of each back pannel (to accomodate my huge butt!).  I cut a 4inch wide waisband and attached that, stuck a red zipper in!

The Ace of Spades is cut from black satin and using fabric mount to position, then machine appliqued on using a diamond stitch.

Love to hear comments Smiley
