Ladies and gentlemen, this is Zorbie.
http://www.craftchic.com/images/zorbie1.jpg

Zorbie is a zoobot5000, trained specifically for feeding zoo animals.  See his impressive high tech new aged screen and functions?

His cheery face keeps all the animals happy, and helps him do his job.  Here he is at his first day at work, feeding the bears.

This is where he meets Leonard!  Leonard is a special bear, with shall I say a bit of nerdiness to him, and though he works part time at the zoo, he never quite feels like he fits in.  He needs some intelligent conversation!

When Zorbie and Leonard get together, they make perfect friends!  So much so that Leonard decides to move out of the zoo into the suburbs.  Zorbie is more than happy to join him in his new apartment.  Here they are now!

I have a sneeking suspicion that these two will be friends for a long, long time.  Well, at least as long as a smart bear and a zoobot can take care of each other, anyway.

P.S. I'd like to thank the bf for letting me raid his switch parts stash to make Zorbie's control panel complete with real resistors that were intended originally for guitar effects pedals.  Sweet.

Hehe, such a touching story!

I love Zorbie and the fact that he has little transistors sewn into him. I also like Leonard, despite his nerdiness, since lets face it, we all have a nerdy side to us. Or at least I do. Cheesy

Aww, thanks so much everybody!

This is honestly the coolest knit project I've ever done.  Actually, Leonard was the second and Zorbie was the third knit project I've ever completed!  I've gotta say, the designing of their patterns was a bit of a challenge, but they turned out cuter than i'd ever thought!

Thanks so much for all the nice comments.  Zorbie and leonard love you!
