Well I'm trying to make a messenger bag and it looks fairly easy, but there are a few things I dont understand. The website is:

it says: "repeat above 8 rows one more time then work rows 1 through 4 once"

what does that mean?
what does "work" mean?

Help would be totally appreciated!Thanks.

work means "follow the pattern"

it means to repeat the same pattern that you knitted during the last 8 rows, then knit the first 4 rows of that pattern again.

When a pattern says `work' the stitches, it means knit or purl or do the pattern, but since each row is done differently, it's a shorthand way to say it.
