Meet Oliver....

he looks like a little furry walrus in this pic...(minus the tusks)

top view

view of button-hole

This is probably the cutest dog I have ever met....so..
I tried to make him feel "tough" with his new camo studded collar

What do you think?

Haha!  I hate to break it to you, but he still looks way too freakin' cute.  I dunno, maybe it's the eyelash yarn.  Cheesy

Awesome job, who knew you could crochet cammo...

That is too damn cute! My sister and I pick up the camo yarn by Red Heart at least once a week and say, "Hmm, what could I do with this" and now I know the answer! How did you make it?

Excuse me, I turn into a blithering idiot when I see a pug dog.

Very cute collar for him!

Hey and Thanks everybody! Grin

Invader Tak:  Im glad Im not the only one that turns into a "blithering idiot" everytime around PUG DOGS too!!  Whenever Oliver is around I find my self doing a lot of squeaking!!  He has a power over me!

Brae Day:  The camo is a blended yarn of greens and black so crocheted up it looks camo...so it was a lot easier done than if you had to keep changing the yarn colors to create that look (Id never have enough patience to do that he he)

That's way cute.  If only I had a dog...

Also, do his tags attach to the collar, or does he wear those separately?

What a cute idea!

Do you have instructions to it?  I'm kinda new at crocheting still, so I really like to see patterns, as opposed to just looking at something and trying to copy it.

Why thank you! I am very flattered cause I loved your camo one so much.
And yeah, she's a minpin Smiley

and for whomever asked, all I did was do sc's.  do a chain as wide as you want the collar.  then just do sc rows until it's as long as you want it to be, leaving a bit at the end for the button slot and go around the edge with the eyelash in sc's and finish off and sew on a button.  poof! done!

O.O

Wow. Those are gorgeous..the fur and eyelash yarn really adds the perfect touch!  Would it be okay if I made some for my friends?  People friends, not furry friends.

Oliver wasnt being very camera-cooperative for me this day, but here's the X-mas collar I was talking about.  When he ran, he would jingle...it was really cute!! I'm going to try to make a sweater for this little guy next.  I am NUTS for this dog!
