A waldorf baby!

Here's my first waldorf doll. My daughter absolutely LOVES her. I'm still working on the hair.... but I made her a knotty hat for the time being. She's made of cotton knit for the skin and is stuffed with wool. She's also button jointed. 16" from head to toe.
Here she is naked!

What a cute baby doll - I'm sure your daughter will cherish it forever!

My daughter will be 4 in a couple of weeks and I have been trying to figure out what she would like.  She is just now into babies and while she has some store bought ones, I REALLY want to make her one.

wow! This is a beautiful doll! Is it washable? That'd just add to its greatness! Are you gonna make more clothes?

I think I prefer her without hair...although I don't really know what kinda hair you'd make for her. She just looks cute and babylike how she is!

But I really love her, and I admire your skill!

Thanks! IThe doll is washable. Mostly surface washable but the dolls can take a good scrubbing and I read you're supposed to do it yearly. I probably won't make her any more clothes because I'll be starting on an older doll and that one will probably get the outfits.
The hair is made of fuzzy wool yarns.
