anyone from the orlando area? i'm from clermont, it's about 25 miles from downtown orlando.  i doubt anyone else is here, but orlando?  or the central florida area?  if ya know of any interesting craft shops lemme know  Smiley

I have family in Orlando.  Was wondering how you are fairing so far in storm, as for craft shops it may take me  awhile , but I will find out from my gran, and uncle that live in orlando.

I live in St. Cloud, not too far and teach here in the Davenport area. (plus my grandparets have a ranch in center hill, clermont is going to town for them) out there your best bet is the webster flea market on mondays...there are a few thrift stores, and i only know of the one scrapbooking store actually in clermont. I'd be willing for a crafty get together if we can find some other folks.

yay!!!!!! someone else!!!!!!!!!! Cheesy  i was startin to feel lonely lol  yeah there's a scrap book shop, and a stained glass shop here in town...but that's about it.  there's a michaels and a walmart a ways down which helps a bit. just wondered if there were any "family" run shops around.

mommiemed - we fared well, only a few shingles missing. here's hoping we do as well with ivan
