I know summer is over and its now fall but this is what Oliver sported all summer...

I hand drilled shells found at the Jersey Shore and strung them through the hemp.
What do you think?

Oliver looks like a total stud!!  Kiss Kiss What a cute idea for collars; I wonder if my pugs would just try to eat the shells. Roll Eyes

My pug Bumblebee would lick those shells until she passed out. She likes salty things!

I love it, but my Pookie would look funny...she's old, and it would take a thicker dog than mine to pull it off...

Your pug is beautiful!

Was is very difficult to drill through the sea shells? I would have thought they would crack in half.

BTW, very cute pug!

Aww what a sweet dog. The collar is great. I have a ton of shells from a trip to the beach last spring that I have no clue what to do with. How do you make the holes without breaking the shells?

hey Jaded Jen
I use a dremel tool
but be careful...I did get some breakage and the shells get really hot.  A big downside is that as your drilling the smell of burning hair fills the room
