He's an older model robot, a little beat up.  I think he was pretty lonely until someone made a little teddy bear to keep him company.

Whipping up the bot was fun, definitely challenging.  It was the first time I'd worked with a felt object that was to come out more than two inches tall, so making sure he could stand up was a learning experience.

You can see the love in his eyes. Smiley


I was sort of inspired by a t-shirt I saw somewhere with a picture of a bear carrying around a stuffed boy as a toy, complete with button eyes.   I thought my robot seemed like he needed something to love.
