i had a craft fair recently that was fun and sewed lots of new stuff. YAY

here is this skull print fabric i got months and months ago but thought it was too bright so like two nights ago i used coffee and dyed it to make it brownish. it turned out so rad! all i did was put some of my bf's expresso in a pot with water and put the fabric in it for a few mins on low boil... then i rinsed it and and soaped it, and it dried and its brown!


That is an awesome tip!  Thanks for sharing Cheesy  I have some fabrics that are a tad too stark.  I'll have to try this out!

its totally the best for too bright fabric that goes with brown (most) or if you accidentally stained something, like a blouse. well i guess it wont work for everything Tongue
