W00t! I got mine in today.

Kristen81 sent me....

1. a great wand! I think she used polymer clay to form the handle - it's all curvy-like. And it's long and wooden. The tag said it has unicorn mane as a core. It came with it's own bag, made from fabric that is VERY HP-like.

2. A great little card with Tonks on the front - in PowerPuff Girl format!

3. Stationary! It's potentially made from packing paper (my mom said that) and it's got several different house logos on it AND she customized it - it says my name on it!

4. The longest and prettiest scarf EVER! It's a Ravenclaw house scarf/quidditch scarf. Doncha love it?

Here's me wearing the scarf and holding the wand. I also decided to wear my glasses so I could resemble a pensive mix of Hermione and Harry Smiley

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

knittingtwit - there's a list of specific swaps we're working through and the next one scheduled is Favorite Book/Movie.  I'm not sure yet who is going to run it.  Any takers?

We should get signups going for that one in the next week or so.  Although right now there is another HP swap going on, so I don't know how much interest there would be.  If not enough interest, we could hold off on the list until closer to winter when people aren't as busy.

I'm done hijacking now!
