I noticed these at the Kate Cusack website and thought they were a fun idea.  Anyone have construction thoughts about making rosettes from zippers?  I can't suss them out.

I don't think that this is how that person did them, but you could probably use the tutorial that someone posted around here for making ribbon/tape measurer rosettes and just use half a zipper instead to achieve a similar effect.

Well, I've been looking at the photos, bought a cheap zipper from St. Vinnie's, and went at it.  Here's the first attempt... still not quite there.  I think I need a bigger zipper.  That or smaller petals.
