Hey, my five years old daughter made this doll with her grandmother. I'm so proud! Her name is Jessie.

Aww, that's so sweet!  And it's really nice to see that there at least a few kids out there who aren't spending all their time in front of a screen.

Thanks everyone! We are very lucky to have the grandma living so close by so that she can pass down her sewing skills to the grandkids. They do amazing craft projects together and are really getting into making clothes and blankets for their American Girl dolls.

I've taken craft projects into my kids' classrooms and their classmates are just starved to be creative. Unfortunately, a lot of kids today don't get the opportunity to craft at home.

Aw, she's adorable!  I remember making a rag doll at school one time...  I loved that thing and I was so proud of it. Smiley

That's sad. Sad  I will always make sure that my future, hypothetical children have plenty of stuff to craft with!  I go with a community service group to the children's hospital to do crafts, and they just loovveee it.

Maybe we should do rag dolls with the girls sometime! Smiley
