"Stressed" is "desserts" spelled backwards.

Wow, that sun is just perfection...

And thanks a lot for the inspiration, this time - for how to keep a sick toddler from climbing up the walls - I went out to Office Depot today and got an art kit with tons of markers, pencils, crayons, oil pastels, and watercolors for the local equivalent of a little less than $7, cut up a s**tload of blanks for her and sat her down to make ATC's while I made all sorts of preparations for her 2nd birthday party... Sitting down and "doing the same thing as mommy" kept her busy for nearly two hours!

So you managed to brighten up my day in more ways than one!

I actually really love your watercolours even before the embellishment. Do you do larger pieces?

Oh, I'm so glad!  My mini is the same way...we got her a kitchen at 2 (so she wouldn't insist on cooking with me!) an easel at 3 (so she could paint alongside me!) and now she makes ATCs with me, and cooks with me too...she's pretty crafty.  We just chose 60 rocks to polish in a rock tumbler, good times.

Thanks all for the compliments!

I do, I paint custom art of all sizes for kids rooms, homes, and business, anything from tiny pendants to 30 foot wide murals. Cheesy I've shown my work in a few gallery shows, and just love to create! It's fun!

Love your new ATCs!

I really love your philosophy, too
"So, for those of us you who are (like me) poor for real art supplies, no more whining.  Just make art.  Grin"

thanks for the inspiration! Smiley  I would add to that to trust the art process and trust yourself...

It is obvious that your desire/need to create art not only makes you artistically creative, but recycling or finding supplies creative as well!  You never cease to amaze me with your work!  Beautiful colors--I love the couple and the sun--and, that you include your child in this wonderful process!

OY, where are you?

Sorry sweety!  I'm redecorating my kid's rooms, so I've been using all my creative energy to paint little shelves and such, clean closets, plan styles, sew pillow covers, quilt, etc.  I have made a few though, here they are:

These are for an Alice In Wonderland (your original concept art of that book).  These are sharpies and colored pencil overlay.
