My husband had been wanting a new computer desk when we found this fugly old desk was outside our neighbors' apt with a "please take me" sign.

Some sanding, new knobs and a few coats of paint later and we got this.  (Sorry for the bad lighting.  The room it's in is pretty dark and the flash makes everything look bad.)

Nothing fancy, but we like it. Smiley

I like it. I have a big heart for old "please take me"-furniture, too.
Great job, it looks like a new, fresh bought desk.

Wow, it looks really great!

Man, I have such a furniture refinishing fetish! I love when people post before and after pictures!

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass... the refill contained the antidote.
