This is my first little creature I've crocheted. I decided to just free style the little guy instead of following a pattern although it is clearly based on a japanese bunny pattern. My stitches and my embroidery need some work but in the end I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Sorry the picture's so blurry!

Let me know what you think,
xoxo Amy

Cute!

What happened to the legs though?

Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.

My current craft project: crochet domokun doll.

Very cute! But I don't know about Japanese... I think she is very much like our national pride Nijntje (in the English-language world also known as miffy), Dutch kids have been growing up with her since 1955! Nijntje is cool! (check out www.nijntje.nl)

You're right I think I was channeling Miffy. I love Miffy!!! As for the legs, I kind of just thought she was cuter without them. Call me crazy but nothing is cuter to me than a really round animal. Cheesy

Cute, even without legs.

I'm probably dating myself here but it reminds me of toys we had when I was small, called Weebles.  They had a rounded body like that and the song was "weebles wobble, but they don't fall down!"
