I recently did a swap with Sonjaboo and Mayerlove, and I recieved from both of them today!

From Sonjaboo:

Lots and Lots and gorgeous roving for me to learn to needle felt with! She also included a needle and a foam block, so I have everything I need to get started!!

A knit neck warmer! I'm thinking I might actually sew up the sides of this and turn it into a pouch!!

2 of those kanzashi ( yes I am sure that is spelled wrong!) pins, they are SO pretty in person!! And 2 button hair pins!

Now for my favorite thing:

AH! A needle felted little tiny ROBOT!!! I love this. It is completely adorable!!!

AND Abby loved the box it all came it hahaha, here she is in the living room with it, she dragged it there all the way from the kitchen  Cheesy:

Thanks so much Sonjaboo, I love everything!!

Now for mayerlove! I asked her if she could knit me the Stitch n Bitch cabled newboy cap in black, so here it is! The lamp is modelling it hehe!

Thanks Mayerlove!! I LOVE it and I am wearing it right now! I hope you recieve from me soon!

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

I'm the luckiest girl in the world!!!

Atsuko and I did a personal swap last month.  I made her three bags in return for a gorgeous four-strand necklace, and we had loads o fun!  So she noticed in my wists that I liked the smoking necklace, and she had just made one for another swap and wanted to know if I wanted one too!  I told her i'd swap anything for one ( Grin) but she said she'd give it to me for a birthday gift!!!  Is Atsuko the greatest girl or what??

So here it is!  My beautiful, my very own, Smoking Necklace!!!  I put it on immediately and went to the pub! Smiley  haha!

Rox, thank so so very much for making me this awesome necklace!  I wuv it!!!  many kisses!!!!!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

So I received from the lovely Fidget today. Boy did she make my day! I got spoiled Grin

She sent some chocolate from Chatanooga, a kitty notepad, wooden knitting needles with polymer clay ends, a small pincushion and, the item I actually did the swap for, the Amish Puzzleball.
I love it all! The puzzle ball is even more beautiful in person than you can see on the picture. I luvs it!
Here's a close up of the ends of the knitting needles

Yay, thanks for swapping with me, Fidget!

As Bobolink stated above, she got me started on my 1st Alpha ATC's in trade for a continuance of her set.  I wasn't sure if I'd like making them or not.  Pfff!  I'm so addicted!!

Here are the wonderful cards she sent me + an awesome envelope!

Thanks so much!!  If you want to trade again, anytime, just holler.
