Hello!
First, all the designs posted here are pretty amazing! it inspired me to try to make a "cocotte en papier" (i don't know the english name, but it's vaguely a chicken and looks like that: http://perso.orange.fr/corobu.mireille/cocotte.jpg), using a 4cmx4cm Art Clay Paper square. And unfortunately, even if i tried to fold as "loosely" as possible, the different pieces broke down where it had ben folded.
Do you know how not to have this problem?
Thanks for the help! Smiley

Hi Mercredi,

A few quick questions:

1. When did your sculpture break?
 - While folding the Art Clay?
 - While handling the sculpture before firing?
 - During the firing process?

2.  Did you fold the clay before firing it?

Hi,
It broke as I was folding it (before the firing, as it was still soft and easy to fold).
I read somewhere that Art Clay is twice as thick as PMC, so maybe it has something to do with it... Did somebody try with Art Clay?

Sorry.  Embarrassed  I wish I could help.
I'll try to remember to ask someone at my next local Silver Clay meeting.
