This is a sort of strange project. These squares were originally intended for a sampler afghan I was making for a friend of mine. For reasons I won't get into, that friend isn't getting an afghan anymore Tongue, so I was stuck with these squares sitting around.

I dug them out the other day and decided to make a kind of scrap scarf out of them using different techniques to stitch them together. I was going to add crocheted ruffles and ribbons and extra embellishment, but it caught my husband's eye when I was working on it and HE wanted it!

So here it is (can't put ruffles and sparkles on it if it's for him!). It's really wide, but I like wide scarves you can pull up over your face when it's cold.

love it!!  the textures are awesome, and i like that all the colors coordinate with each other.  you have inspired me to make one!  ...er, when i learn how to do some fancy stitchin'   Cheesy
