Here's my first try at mittens. They're made of 100 % wool so I hope they will warm my hands this winter and fall!
I must say I really enjoyed making them, and it's so nice with small project that you can just tuck away when you're not working on it.
To make them a little more fun a embroidered a heart in cross stitch on each of them.

And last but not least an action shot!

Those are lovely.  The hearts are a nice touch.

I really like those- great job  Smiley  I've been considering making myself some mittens before it starts getting cold.

Nice mittens! I do love the hearts.

Which pattern did you use?  Huh  I have been looking for a good mitten pattern (and there are lots) but haven't heard feedback, so if there's one that people like then that is what I will try.

Oh! I love those, but then again I am obsessed with hearts.
They look great and very well made! Smiley

knitty mcknitknit, the pattern I used is one I got from my LYS so I'm not sure it's okay to put it here but I've seen several similar patterns on the net so it shouldn't be hard to find one.
The thing I learned from knitting these is that mittens are actually not that hard once you get the hang of the dpns. There are no funny tricks apart from k2tog and skp so don't be afraid to try  Tongue

Those are GREAT.  Mittens are my favorite thing to knit.  I assume you made them in the round?

Wow, I'm really excited about those.  Cute. Kiss
