something to do with all of those sleeves leftover from making record bowls.  eh?
supplies:
glue gun
sexy/cool/rockin record sleeve
legal pad
razor/craft knife

step 1: crack open the sleeve and lay the legal pad down next to the fold in the center.  add about a 1/4" of ease and mark top and bottom.  cut excess sleeve away.  repeat for the other flap.  or do them both at once.  i don't care.
step 2:  generously hot glue the legal pad down to the inside of the right flap.

step 3: cut a piece of sleeve to cover the binding of the legal pad from the excess.  hot glue in place.

step 4: take another piece of scrap and cut to the width of the left flap of the folder.  put a bead of glue on three edges of this piece and glue to the inside of the left flap for a folder pocket.

step 5(optional): the record sleeves are open on both edges.  these make great extra pockets for loose papers, or you may hot glue them shut.  i did one of each.

enjoy.

This is an awesome idea! Cool

What about making one so that the sleeve could be reused after the pad was empty?  Just an idea.

i had to keep all of my psych notes forever, so that really wasn't an issue for me.  another option would be to cut a slit in the folder and slide the back of the legal pad in.

These are so cool!

I would totally do this, but my dad would kill me (literally) if I snagged any records.   Cheesy
