Wow -- that's an impressive piece of work.  Do you have a picture of the whole length of that side so that we can see how the parts all fit together?

That's some very impressive work. Do you have to concentrate a lot ot get your stitches so neat - or is this something you can work on while your watching TV?

It looks like it was created by a machine or something. It's fab

Thanks! It was rather silly of me not to put a photo of the whole thing in - I'll update it with one soon, though. I can't get good lighting for photos at night - well, for small things, I can put them under my ott light. For something this long, I need some sunlight!

Mmm. Can I do it while I watch TV? I think I've watched a movie before while doing that, but you don't really "watch" the movie - you more or less just listen to it and glance up now and then. Usually, I listen to music or chat with friends or sometimes I listen to books on tape when doing handwork. I prefer those to watching something.

Novastarlet - nope, not a stitch on a machine. You can't get satin stitch that looks like that on a machine, actually!! I don't think so, anyway. I'm not bragging on the stitch - it's actually the raised part that wouldn't look so good if done on machine!!

Thanks for the compliments!! It did take hours upon hours. And I still have the other side to finish!
