I know this isn't much, and i don't even have a whole picture of the purse, but this is the first "thing" (aside from a tea towel--my 1st offical embroidery project) i embroidered. Thanks to sumblime stitching i am hooked.
I just had to show this to people who would "get it." and be happy for me (b/c some people just don't seem to understand the fun, seriousness, creativity, blood, sweat, and tears, that can sometimes go into crafty projects).

so, i had this icky old pink cargo purse...it used to be my favorite, now i just use it for things i don't want to take my "new" purse to (beach, concerts, camping, etc) and i decided to make it "new" again. i love how it turned out. i'm so proud.

Great job!  The satin stitch is a hard one to master, but it looks like you're a natural.  Once you've started embroidery, it's very addicting.  Stitch all that is old to make new once again!   Wink
