ive heard of several people getting in trouble for posting an add say for example having a sale this weekend and price is $.010 they say you cannot do this it is against the rules. if you are going to post it had better be for an item and not an add
good thing i didnt do that for my on sale items lol

The reason that Etsy cracked down on it is because those people were doing auctions. It's ok to post your sales in the promotions & critiques section but it is NOT ok to have auctions on Etsy. Many Etsiers (myself included) were worried that it was getting a bit to EBay-ish and I guess admin thought the same thing.  Smiley
