hey great idea!! n great bangles! i'd been eyeing these 1/2-inch sequined ribbons in a 100 fils store but dint want to buy them unless i knew wht to do with them...now i do!! i'll post them when im done...thnx for the inspiration!!

Has anyone tried making them with fabric?

Im home sick and not very mobile so this is the perfect project! I saw bangles like these at Claire's and now Im so glad I didn't buy them! : )

Christinemichelle - you cound cut srips of fabric and fold under the raw edges, and then just use them as you would ribbon...

just throwing this out there but make sure to check your dollar stores too. Holiday ribbon is all over ours. I bought to rolls of holiday ribbon in I think 9 foot lengths for $2.00 (us).

Thanks for the tut! These are so easy to make!  I made these yesterday...I didn't use any plastic...just doubled the cardboard...still a bit flimsy...so I'll try using the plastic next time.  And I MUST find pokadotted ribbon!!!
