i've got a bead making kit like that, it's a good starter kit, and i can work with whatever colours i like, people often say the hothead torch that comes with the kit isn't hot enough, it takes ages to melt the glass, transparent colours scum etc but i've not had many problems.

clear can scum easier on a hothead but as for it not being hot enough and the slow melting time, i found that perfect when i was starting out and i was getting perfect round beads in less than a week

if you know your going to make beads for a long time and you've got the money to spend on a good set up then go for a more expensive torch, but if you wanna try it out and see how you go, go for that one, i love my little torch, it's not let me down so far
