Thank you Era Vera!

They were from a photo contest I enter sometimes, and did okay.

Hoping to get more of my photos uploaded to Flickr so I can post more here. Smiley

well.. I know I posted a few pictures before but I just got some from my vacation and from the weekend I wanted to share.. =]

this is inside Disney's Contemporary resort.

this is at the Ryman. I had to get down on the floor to take it.. got some weird looks from other tourists.  Tongue

took this one from the car driving through Nashville

this was taken inside a cave. you have to ride a boat inside of it.. and you have to duck down really low to get into the entrance, then it opens into this huge room. it's really dark so it was hard to get some pictures.. but they did have a few lights set up and I got this shot =]

I got oodles more at my deviant. checkit out  Grin

I really like the picture of your niece.  You really caught the sparkle and detail in those big eyes!

You've got a great eye for composition.  Love the flowers in your gallery (I'm a sucker for that abstract feel flowers get when up close or in B&W).  Very nice photos.

thanks.  she had the biggest most expressive eyes when she was little.  she's only four now, so its not like she's not still little, but she seems to have grown into them a little bit more.  she's a hoot to photograph though.

thanks.  i'm hoping someday when i have a real job and am no longer living on student loans that i can get a macro lens.  Smiley

I love black and white, and yours are excellent. You really capture your subjects at their best most expressive.

Here are a couple more of mine.
