wow, so many uber talented photographers in here!!!  I really want to know though, what kind of camera do you use, Alvan?  Your images are so crisp and the colours are superb!

First of all I have to say that your picture of the flowers are so good! The colors and the cut is very nice!

I'm using Minolta Dimage F300 it's alright but it's a littel bit so slow.

I'm not a "photographer," strictly speaking, but i love taking pictures. i don't have a digital camera (or a good regular film camera), so i use the camera on my phone instead. these shots were all done on my phone. here are a few of mine:

A ride at the Date Festival in Indio, CA

Another ride from the same carnival:

A sunset in front of my high school:

P.S.: Are heavily altered photos fair game for this thread, or are we focus on mostly untouched photos? Because I have a bunch of pics I've altered using PhotoPlus that I'm pretty psyched about & I'd like to show off.

P.P.S.: My avatar right now and most of the ones I use on this site were made by me. Wink

Wow, have been lurking on this site for ages, but only just found this thread!!
I used to do motorsport photography a lle while ago (2years ago)... Sadnly I can't do it any more because I got double whiplash in a car acident, and it hurts me too much to hold the camera and the huge lenses for too long, but any way - here are some of my pictures!!!

This one is on my wall at work Smiley
Links will have to do for now :

This one got published in the local paper in Goulburn (in Australia)

Regarding bubba*tink's Cosmo the boy pug photo:

This is a great photo - perfect exposure, good focus and detail. I've always had problems taking good pictures of my black cat. What equipment, techniques did you use to achieve this shot? I'm assuming the dark background helps to prevent overexposure.
