I really like the first photo, which you put in the post, and the last one. The motion in them is just really strong.

Rebeccalynnis, i really like the first and last ones like _teacup_ said. How did you get them to show up like that?

PS. I think a Photo Challenge would be nice too...

thanks a bunch!
iwannamessupmysheet sw_you, i just set my camera to the fireworks setting, and moved the camera around, to make different lines and motions. it actually all started by an accident, i just have terribly shakey hands. ^_^

SO happy this thread exists. Everyone has wonderful work.

Here are a few random ones from the past two or three months. There's more on my flickr [http://www.flickr.com/photos/karataylor/] if you're interested.

^Wisteria growing/blooming in my yard at home in the 'burbs. I have no idea how we managed to get Wisteria to bloom in, like, five years in northern Illinois. My grandma is a magician.

My baby squirrel, Milford!! hahaha. My friend found a hurt baby squirrel in her yard in the middle of May, & we couldn't get a wildlife rehabilitation center to take him. That led to three weeks of a squirrel in the house, & now we have a squirrel that comes down the tree to hang out with you when you're on the deck. He runs right up your leg & eats nuts from you hahahahahah.

Some great pics, Kara! But what really caught my attention was the description under the squirrel photo:

"He runs right up your leg & eats nuts from you"

I got a COMPLETELY different picture in my head!
