Do you think you could use a pair of matching pillow cases and make an apron that has the top chest piece too? I love the idea of reusing items like that, and may have to make something for myself, lord knows when I start quilting I'll probably need an apron to hold my things in! Smiley
Love the tut, very easy to understand.

thanks for the compliments!!!

I'm sure that it could be done! it'd just be a matter of cutting out the shape. I bet that it wouldn't even need to be double-layered - just use seam binding on the edges!

Maybe i'll play around with that someday. if i do i'll upload photos.

I just saw this and LOVED it................. Tongue ............I'm new to sewing......though I'm an accomplished crocheter, as well as a self-taught knitter..............this was the perfect project to break me in!!.......Thank you for posting it!......... Kiss

Okay.........so it's been a day............and I'm TOTALLY addicted......... Tongue

I loved this tute so much I jus' HAD to make another.........an' I have another in the works.......... Grin
On the second one I made...........(I have a TON of bed clothing a friend of mine gave me,  with some REALLY cute old pillowcases...... Grin ) ..........I actually used two pillowcases..........and made some minor changes to it........... Grin  .........and I plan to take the remnants to either make a third,  or to make some really chic oven mits........as I also have tons of old denim I can put to good use for the filler in them......... Grin
In the bag of bed clothes........I also came across some absolutely fantabulous handmade pillowcases......I thought I'd post a pic to see if you had ideas about how to alter the pattern for those......... Roll Eyes

Pics to come soon!.............. Smiley
