it's a little late, but i made this jungle girl/cave girl outfit.  it's pretty skimpy so i chickened out on wearing it in public.  plus it was way too cold to wear, anyway!  the only one who got to see it was my boyfriend and now all you strangers.

i made it from this skirt i never wear:

and now:

Woo, Doomgaze! Seriously awesome jungle chick outfit; much better than the ones I've seen for sale and far sexier, too. Great job!
It probably would've been tons of fun to wear in public, though. Smiley I dig your username, too.

The Pan costume up there also rocks, and do way too many other things in this thread for me to mention.

This is my 2006 halloween costume: Tim Burton's corpse bride!

This is what the origional goodwill dress looked like before i cut it up and dyed it blue.

The wig is made from about 2 skeins of yarn. i really liked the wig alot bu it shed everywhere! you cant really see in the picture, but there is a viel connected to a head piece draping down the back. The bouquet just came from michaels and was wrapped in ribbon. Not pictured are my awesom blue stockings. i dyed white stockings blue and painted a skeleton leg on it with white and glow in the dark paint.
And to finish, of course, alot of white and blue face makeup! i hope you like it!

That's the best corpse bride I've seen! I am totally in love with your wig and would wear it all the time, hah. The eyemake up is lovely, too, and, oooh, the dress! Fantastic.

i decided to post mine although i didn't really make much of it...but i like it wayy too much Cheesy
and unfortunatly i didn't get very many pictures but here's one:

that was taken at school during the halloween "fashion show" (aka if you dressed up you stand on a bench) but i had to put on a sweater due to coldness and dress code:( you can't see the detail of the top very well but it was a dress frm the thrift store that i changed around a bit...it was dark purple with black lace and sequinny details..i loved it:D i also had a few long bead necklaces, random pieces of stuff in my hair, and bright green and black lace gloves, none of which you can really see. and you can't see my makeup and my hair is considerable smaller than it started out. basically i'm just showing off this picture becasuse i like it hehe
unfortunately, i didn't place in the costume contest. and guess what won? a mario-peach combo. i mean, reallly. most overdone costume of the year. and second place was just a guy wearing a glove with a kid. michael jackson.
