Here's our "scrapbook" from last year (2005) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=60346.0

Now, I want to see completed costumes for 2006!!

Please....
  • Post homemade creative costumes here, not store bought costumes.   Everyone knows what Hot Topic's costumes look like, we want to see YOURS!  Smiley
  • Feel free to start a thread ALL about your costume and come to this thread to post photos and a link to your detailed thread.  I'd like this thread to be one, long photo scrapbook!  (you won't get deleted for "double posting")
  • Post photos and descriptions here.  If you don't have a photo...this isn't the thread for your project.  Wink
  • If your costume was inspired by another custome, please post a link & give credit to that person/costume.
  • Post costumes YOU made or are going to wear THIS year, not costumes your brother's sister's doggie, Fluffy wore in 1993.  Cheesy

yup. i haven't made it yet. it will probably be just a hankerchief-like half mask to cover my nose and mouth. i want to do my hair and wear fake eyelashes, so the full hood isn't going to work.

Hey danajo, I went as a ninja last year. I was in the castro in San Francisco and I've never had so much positive response and free beer! People just freak when they see hot chick ninjas apparently. Smiley

I cut a black ribbed tank top and it made a great half ninja mask and then rimmed my eyes with dramatic red and gold eyeshadow! It looked great. wish I had a picture..

My son, dressed as Anakin from Star Wars Episode I.  I made the entire costume & the helmet.  The goggles are welding goggles that I altered.  He isn't actually unhappy in the photos, he's just trying to look serious.  Wink

Costume consists of: tunic, pants, 2 belts, arm & leg wraps, spatz, hood, goggles & helmet.
