Hah!  I made a dress!   Grin  Im so proud, it is the first time I have sewn any article of clothing!

Its made of fleece - not my favourite material, but since this was a first I wanted something cheap and easy to sew in.  And with Norwegian winter coming up, it will probably come in handy, its nice and warm!

Thanks!  Smiley  Not sure how good of a job it was, though, I probably did everything wrong  Grin  But I wore it today and at least it still sticks together  Wink

I think it came out awesome!! Was the fleece easy to work with? I've only used it to make pillows and was thinking of making fleece pajama pants, but I was afraid of how difficult it might be to sew. It looks like you did a great job, and I love the heart in the middle!

Thanks!  Smiley  The fleece was really easy to work with.  The saleswoman in my local fabric store recommended it as a good "first" fabric.  I dont think making fleece pajama pants would be a problem at all!

I know I'm so excited- I'm on their email list so I get email annoucements about sales. I was at work and I had difficulty containing myself. Smiley I'm definitely gonna try making pjs. In fact, I've never made pants before. I made a pair of shorts once; results not Craftster-worthy. Not even wearable.

Great job! I've been looking forward to seeing your dress, since I saw your original post showing the Norwegian fleece dresses. I really want to make one just like yours. I hope that I can make up a pattern as well as you did!

great job!  i've been thinking about making a bunch of elastic waistband pants out of fleece for my daughter -- thought they'd be good preschool wear.  good to know that fleece is easy to work with.
