I am just loving vests for fall and yours with the owl is, oh so stylish! Good luck finding ways to use all that acrylic. Shocked  I applaud your creativity.

cute owl!! The thought of spending hours and hours knitting stuff out of acrylic makes me want to cry a little though.

If the acrylic starts making you crazy maybe consider the option of donating it to a local art school, knitting club, or knitta!

I really love the owl applique!

That colour must really have been on offer that day! Acrylic you say? Try making and selling hair falls. The crazy pink would make a few of my friends nuts! We like acrylic in hair falls because it doesn't go funny the way wool can when you wear it in your hair! I really hope you know a lot of people who enjoy pink!

oooh isnt october breast cancer awareness month? knit tons of things and donate them to charity or see if you can help in some way... pink is the colour of the charity! ...now I've thought of that you should really do that.. would use up a lot!

I, for one, love acrylic.  May I say how jealous I am of your vest and newfound pink stash?  Looks awesome.

Goodness your vest looks like something that you can find at Urban Outfitters.  It is so good looking--especially with the Owl!  Are you a Chi O?  Their mascot is the owl--Just curious!  And you said it started with a big bunch of Red Heart yarn?  Your project shows what a little imagination can do!  Love it.

That is beautiful! The owl really adds a nice, chic quirk to the tank top.
