I'm just starting to do paper collage and am using Liquitex to paste on my images and then to brush a coat over the finished project.  My problem is that I'm getting brush marks on the paper.  Does a sponge solve this problem or am I doing something wrong with the brush?

Maybe use lighter coats? I haven't noticed problems with mine, but I use several really, really light coats instead of fewer heavier ones.
