They're actually bookplates I bought at my local scrapbooking store. I used chipboard letters to spell out his name, punched some stars out of card stock and the rest are also chipboard. I used glue dots as my main adhesive, and some tacky glue to get any of the smaller/transparent or just difficult items.

Thanks for your kind words!

oh my goodness, I love it! I think that's such a wonderful gift, too.

And, thank you for the close up photos! I hadn't scrolled down and was about to copy that image into a program to make it bigger so I could see close up, hehe.

That looks great, and so unique. I'm tired of shopping for baby stuff...it all looks the same!

I might borrow your idea for my baby girl.

I used the bookplates made by Basic Grey. You should be able to find them at your local craft or scrapbooking store. There are two different sets, one is rectangles and squares, the other is ovals. I used two of the oval sets, but I've seen wall hangings using the rectangle/square sets that were really cute, too.

Thanks everyone for your continuing kind comments on this post. I made it as a Christmas gift, so it's going to be a while before I'm going to be getting comments from the friend I made it for.
