I heard from someone on here that Cotton-Ease was being brought back, so I emailed Lion Brand to see what they said, and here is the response I got:

Dear Crystal,

Yes the rumors are true!  We will be re-introducing Cotton-Ease in a brand new range of colors in a few months.  Stay tuned to the newsletters for an announcement!

With Warm Regards,

Oh, I'm so glad! When I heard it was being discontinued I bought several skeins in a really pretty blue color, but still haven't used it because I thought it was my ONLY opportunity to use it and was waiting to find the perfect project. Good to know I'll be able to buy more Smiley

Oh my Goodness! YAY!!! I recently bought 6 balls of bright orange because it was the only cotton ease I could find. What's wrong with me?!? I'm so excited it coming back. I can yarn shop like a normal person now. I hate that microspun cotton they have. Too splitty. Hooray for cotton ease.

I have 6 balls of the bright orange too. Yikes, I hate orange. I got it at a good price and I have been looking for something to knit with it ever since. Anyhow, I have finally decided to make this sweater (without the turtle neck) http://gringa.org/archives/cat_olympic_knitting.php

I hate orange as well but I could use a stockpile since it's my fella's favorite college football team's color. He's always thrilled with the orange stuff. I haven't been able to find any orange cotton around here so I've had to dye it myself thus far... with varried results. Tongue

ooh..that's a pretty sweater. Hmm. I may have to make one too. I was thinking I'd be making endless pumpkin hats for all the children I know. I really like that sweater though. I wonder if I can pull off a bright orange sweater. I've been known to wear stranger things.
