Hmmm...this looks fun!

I'll have to check out my yarn stash this evening to see what I can offer before requesting approval for the swap Cheesy

I'll be sorting through my stash this weekend to see if I have enough interesting balls to join in the fun here.  I'll try to pick out interesting stuff that you might not have all seen (unless you are Australian too).  Does that sound like the right thing to do?

OK, so I went through my stash, took out everything I know I won't get around to using, but put back anything that is crap fibre (ie. 100% acrylic).  I was left with a pretty small pile, and all of it the same brand, bought in the same weekend.  10 balls of thick/thin wool blend in various varigated colourways and 4 balls of metallic tape yarns which are nylon/poly.  All are very very recently purchased.  I went a bit nuts at a sale and bought up all that they had that was nice (2 balls of this, three balls of that and 1 of those).  When I got 'em home I realised that those kinds of quantities are only good for scarves and gloves.  I love scarves and gloves, I make 'em but I don't wear 'em.  Because winter here in Oz is not really cold enough.  Does this sound like the sort of stuff people would want though?

Totally forgot about this  Tongue

I claim 3. Debbie Bliss wool/cotton from Knit_north!
My list will follow shortly.

EDIT:
First of, let me say that I smoke and though my yarn is stashed in plasticboxes, it probably smells nonetheless. I do however have a small stash of swap yarn that is stored in my brothers smoke free room, which shouldn't smell at all.
I thought I mentioned it, which is only fair.
Smoke-free:

1.Lana Grossa "Mega boots stretch"; sock yarn color:702; 100g
2.Lana Grossa "Meilenweit: Teamcolor"; sock yarn in English soccer team color; 100g
3.Lana Grossa "Quick"; 50%wool 50%Acryl; 125m/50g; 2 balls
4.Evilla Longad; 100% wool; 2 skeins(130g+120g)

probably not smoke-free:

5.Four Seasons "Tricolor" in 304; 100%Acryl; 2 balls
6.Schachenmayr "Alpacana" in 74;100m/50g 35%wool 35%Acryl 30% Alpaca; 2 balls
7.Lana Grossa "Due" in lime green; 50% merino+50%Acryl; 55m/50g; 2 balls
8.GGH "Apart" in green; 100% nylon; 110m/50g; 1 ball

10."Reine Baumwolle"; 100% cotton; 125m/50g; 3 balls
11.Gedifra "Clou"; 100% Nylon;45m/50g; 2 hanks

OK.  Here goes...

I claim #1. from Javede's stash.  The Lana Grossa Mega Boots Stretch.

Eeep!  I hope I did that right.  For some reason this is all making me unreasonably nervous.

Back in 30 min to put up my pics and descriptions.

***Here 'tis.

1.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 50% Wool 50% Acrylic; 50gr/ball; each approx 45m/49yrd; thick/thin; mossy grey/green, beige, cream colourway.
2.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 50% Wool 50% Acrylic; 50gr/ball; each approx 45m/49yrd; thick/thin; pale mint, teal, warm blue colourway.
3.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 50% Wool 50% Acrylic; 50gr/ball; each approx 45m/49yrd; thick/thin; black, plum, apricot, strawberry colourway.
4.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 50% Wool 50% Acrylic; 50gr/ball; each approx 45m/49yrd; thick/thin; berry, lavender, ice blue colourway.
5.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 50% Wool 50% Acrylic; 50gr/ball; each approx 45m/49yrd; thick/thin; beige, apricot, mushroom, moss colourway.

6.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 40% Nylon 60% Polyester; 50gr/ball; each approx 90m/99yrd; metallic tape/ribbon yarn; silver on white. claimed.
7.   2x balls of Sean Sheep; 40% Nylon 60% Polyester; 50gr/ball; each approx 90m/99yrd; metallic tape/ribbon yarn; silver on black. claimed.
8.   1 ball only of Sean Sheep; 40% Nylon 60% Polyester; 50gr/ball; each approx 90m/99yrd; metallic tape/ribbon yarn; bronze on brown.  Claimed.   I may be able to get my hands on another ball of this if anyone is desperate.  Not sure. Whoops, no, it was the silver on black combo.  I found it with my crochet supplies.  Smiley

All of these are of the handwash variety.  It isnt hard to tell I went nuts at the end of winter sales is it?   Grin  He he.  I love these guys very much, but I know I am not going to get around to doing them justice.  I would really love it if we could all see what ends up being made of them.   Please, please post pics.  Oh, yeah.  I nearly forgot to mention mine is a non-smoking, pet free household.  Well, nearly.  My BF is made to smoke outside, and we only have a small bird for a pet (who I swear is not allowed near my stash).

I hope I am doing this all right, I would be mighty embarrassed if I stood on anyones toes here.  Sorry this is so long winded, but that is it.
