I know that this pattern was posted quite a while ago.  But can you please tell me which sock monkey pattern you are talking about?  Where you say to make the frog:  with green, work Rows 1-4 as charted from the Monkey Pattern.  That is where I am lost.  I cannot seem to find the Monkey pattern.
Thank you.
Sandra

I finally finished this baby blanket yesterday!

Let me know if you use the froggie pattern and have problems with it, or is hard to understand.  I've never written patterns before.
----------------------------------
To make the Frog:
With Green work Rows 1-4 as charted from the Monkey Pattern.

Row 5: ch 1, 2sc in each of first 2sc, 1 sc in each of next 13sc, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, 1 sc in each of next 12 sc, 2sc in last sc, sl st.

Row 6: ch 1, 2sc in next each of next 2 sc, sk 1, 7dc shell, sk 2, sl st in next 5 sc, sk 2, 7dc shell, sk 1, sc in remaining stitches around. Sl st in 1st sc.  Fasten off.

I'll post a picture that shows the eyes upclose so you can see how I sewed those.
---------------------------------

I made it using Caron Simply Soft in White, Lemonade and Limelight.  Sage was used for the dark parts of the eyes and the mouth.

It's from Deb Stoller's bookThe Happy Hooker. I'll bet your local library has a copy!
