Finally done! This took me forever due to gauge problems, but when I finally figured it out, it wasn't hard to make.  Roll Eyes  I made it in Jo Sharp DK Cotton in Carmen, and I found the yarn to be a little difficult to work with since it threaded apart easily (I don't recommend it, but it was $2/ball on clearance).

I'm not sure if I like the ribbon (and it's too wide, 1/2 inch, not 1/4 inch)--it's a cream color, which isn't bad with the red. The ribbon really helps to stabilze the collar. Sorry for the grainy pic, I really need to clean my mirror and fix my lighting.

It came out beautifully! I love the color you chose.. If it wasn't that hard, maybe I will take a stab at it.. Smiley I'm slightly patterned-challenged, hehe.

love the color that  you chose.  I want to make a cupcake, it boring after awhile. Everytime I see a finished one it makes me want to pick up my yarn and hook.  Beautiful

I checked it out of the library a few times before buying it to be sure I would use it, you might want to see if it is available at your library

that pattern is one of the things that drew me towards buying the book. I love it! but being a bigger girl I'm going to have to play with it to make it fit or wait until I lose more weight! heh great job!
