They look much better in silver!  Good job.  One question- for the slits for the ribbon, did you just cut it or did you sew around the edges or anything?

i just cut them. the material is pretty thick and it doesnt look like they're going to fray.

They look fantastic. I would never think to do anything with my shoes.

And who the heck pays $164 for shoes like that?? I think yours are just as cute (if not better) and probably didn't cost 1/4 of that.
